Call for Nominations: 2014 AFP NY, Hudson-Mohawk Board of Directors

AFP NY, Hudson-Mohawk Chapter is currently seeking nominations for individuals to serve on the 2014 Board of Directors.

We are looking for experienced fundraisers who represent the diversity of our chapter in the fullest sense: those who work for regional and national nonprofits, who come from a diversity of racial and ethnic backgrounds, who are consultants, and who bring a variety of skills sets to the leadership of the chapter. Nominees must represent the best qualities of leadership, commitment and integrity. The face of philanthropy has changed significantly in the last twenty years; the AFP NY, Hudson-Mohawk Board of Directors wants to reflect that diversity in our leadership.

Self-nominations or nominations of individuals exhibiting great potential are both accepted. 

The final slate of officers and directors will be emailed to AFP NY, Hudson-Mohawk members no later than October 1, 2013. AFP NY,  Hudson-Mohawk members who are in good standing on October 31, 2013 will have the opportunity to vote at the November National Philanthropy Day program. Terms will begin January 1, 2014 and end December 31, 2015, although we hope members of the board will seek re-nomination for three additional terms.
