The NY, Hudson-Mohawk Chapter was established in 1985 and has over 120 active members who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.

Major Gift Officer Date Open: Immediately Major Gift Officer Office of Institutional Advancement The Sage Colleges The Sage Colleges seek a Major Gift Officer beginning October 6, 2014. Responsibilities of this full-time, administrative position include identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors. The Major Gift Officer is a member of the Office of Institutional Advancement and reports to the Senior Director of Leadership Gifts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with gift solicitation and gift closing experience in a non-profit development capacity minimum requirement. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional who excels in a team focused environment, with the following skills: creativity, organizational ability, attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong work ethic. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; generous benefits package includes tuition waiver for employee and dependents.
