The Antique Boat Museum seeks nominations and applications for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to all aspects of the Museum. S/he will be an outstanding leader with executive-level experience, imagination and vision to lead the Museum in its next cycle of growth. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Trustees in cultivating strategic relationships and strategic partnerships.
The Executive Director oversees and directs a staff of sixteen and has financial responsibility for a budget of approximately 2.5 million. Additionally, the Executive Director will set the tone for the Museum Community and ensures that the staff remains united and works toward common goals.

The Sr. Director of Advancement will serve as city manager and chief advancement officer for the New York metropolitan market with primary responsibility for expanding both the size and capacity of the University's major donor prospect pool, with special emphasis on gifts of $100,000 or more; works in partnership with the college/unit advancement officers for maximum effectiveness; partners with the alumni association, marketing communications, and advancement events teams to increase the effectiveness of broad-based engagement activities including alumni and constituent outreach, cultivation events, and annual giving; personally manages a portfolio of major gift prospects; and helps organize, guide, and manage volunteer activity in assigned markets.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Six+ (6) years of sales/fundraising experience required, with preference for candidates with a proven record of success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts of $100,000+ from individuals; excellent oral, written, and personal communication skills required; proven track record of both leading and serving as a member of high-performing teams required; understanding of the principles of university advancement required.
